Straight off the plane from Tokyo, Kumite Coach Brody Burns, and kumite athletes Tom Scott and Brian Irr will be coming to Chicago this August. 

This is a high level kumite training camp designed for athletes ages 12 and up who are looking to perform at the top of their game. Participants must be competing at an Advanced or Elite level (brown belts and higher). This camp is open to athletes from all dojos.

The High Caliber Karate Training Camp is an excellent way to train side-by-side with top-tier Olympic athletes.

FOOD

During the Saturday and Sunday lunch breaks, athletes will have 90 minutes to grab a bite to eat. Participants are welcome to bring a bag lunch to camp, order in, or run somewhere close during the break. We’ve compiled a list of places we like nearby where you can get food quickly. All restaurants are a 5-10 minute drive from the Techny Prairie Activity Center.
