Highlights
Sensei Elisa takes a bronze medal in individual kumite and a gold medal with the Women's fighting team at the Pan American Championships in Quito, Ecuador. The Women's Kumite Team (Elisa Au Fonseca, Cheryl Murphy, Eimi Kurita, Ashley Hill) defended their Pan American title from last year with a repeat gold medal performance. Last year marked the first time in almost twenty years that the U.S. women won this team event.
Sensei Elisa takes gold at the North American Cup in Ixtapa, Mexico on Saturday Feb 28th. The top 2 athletes in each weight category from Canada, USA, & Mexico competed against one another in this round robin tournament.

Congratulations to our FMA Students who participated at the AAU District Championships on Sunday Feb 28th. Great Job Everyone!!!
'Hope for the Warriors' Kickathon
On January. 23rd, 19 FMA Students did a total of 39,466 kicks for charity!!!
Students collected pledges for their kicks in order to raise funds for this non-profit organization dedicated to helping wounded and fallen soldiers and their families.
